Birds of Border - Ekatha Creations

Some performances end with applause. Some linger long after. Birds of Border was one of those.

Set between Kashmir and Kerala, the play explored not the politics of borders, but their quiet presence in our lives, the invisible lines that shape love, identity, and belonging. Being on stage, inside those moments, made it feel less like a performance and more like something lived in real time.

I happened to click a few pictures along the way, nothing planned, just instinct. Looking at them now, they feel like fragments of that experience.

The play may be over, but some of its questions aren’t going anywhere. The most obvious question - which character was right? In the hindsight, everyone seems correct from their own perspective. Maybe that’s the point. Right and wrong, more often than not, are deeply personal choices, shaped by where you stand, what you’ve lived through, and what you choose to hold on to.
